I hope yours goes so much better than my has.

I am very annoyed today. I went to get my coumadin (blood medicine) refilled, once again they gave me 30 pills when I need 60. I had this problem a couple of months ago, and then last month it was fixed. Now they won't fix it. They have shorted me 2 weeks worth of medicine. Claiming that the insurance won't pay for it. I happen to know that I have been getting 60 pills a month for the last two years! Don't give me they won't pay for it. Then I looked at the refill for my stomach medicine, they shorted me there too. I mean, I am taking it 4 times a day, not 2 and I KNOW that prescription said 120 pills. I am soooooo annoyed by this I could spit. No wonder I am out fast this month. I called the doctors for new prescriptions which will fix the problem for next month, unfortunately, I am royally screwed for this month. I will have two weeks with no medicine. That could be really bad. Between my blood and my stomach I could be in the hospital again. I am not up for that. So I am having a bad day now and with a new student today too. That is the other annoying thing. I asked a student for my music back last month! I still don't have it and I need it. The student isn't taking lessons anymore and has about 4 books and CDs that I need for the new student. This is NOT my day.

Rather dull day here in the Paxton House. We went to our usual Tim Horton's and then over to Walmart. We needed milk and Mom need ice cream. She eats it everyday. If I did that I weigh over 300 pounds. Must be nice to be able to eat it everyday. I talked to Kathy today. Apparently Matthew had a blast at camp and is looking forward to the next one. Oh to be young and looking forward to camps again. I loved going to camp. It was one of the things that made summer fun, going to camp.
Only 3 more days til Harry Potter!!!!! I can't wait. It seems like it took forever to come out. I hope it is better than number 5, cause that one wasn't so good. I will let you know.
Well, try to have a great day!

Everyone has gone home now from Book Club. It was so fun. I love how we digress into other topics. Last months book was really good. Better than the month before. I mean, it was good and all, but I really liked the last one. Aggie picked this months book. An abundance of Katherines. She really likes it so it should be good. I am going to finish the Percy Jackson book first though. Only 4 more days to Harry Potter. Book 7 is now available in paper back. I have it in hard cover.
It is hot out today. A little to humid for me. Feels like more rain. Maybe it will lower the humidity. I hope so. Pain level in arm is a little high today. My right leg is sore too. How annoying! Oh well, it could be worse, it could be burning bad like my arm. That would be worse.
I saw a picture of my friend Karlyn's little girl in the girl scout brochure. She is very cute and small. How cool to have your picture in the brochure or registration book, whatever you want to call it. I would be excited if my picture was in something like that.
Not much else to say today. So have a good Saturday night.

I was sewing with the Muglia girls today. They are doing really well, in spite of having a teacher who makes a lot of mistakes. They are very forgiving at least. After that Mom and I went to the little cafe for dinner. We will be eating at home every night for a while, since we have gone out too much this week. I think about the cost to late. I need to start thinking about it before we go. I'm working on it. It was a nice day today. The pain level wasn't too bad. I am definitely getting used to the burning arm sensation. I am even sleeping a little better despite the arm. I just turn over more often, switch from sore leg to sore arm.
It looks like it is going to rain. Again. We have had a lot of rain this summer, but at least it usually keeps the humidity down. We are supposed to get some rain later tonight. I think we will skip the scooter/walk tonight just in case it pours on us. My scooter doesn't do well with the rain.
Have a great evening!

I must make a correction. Richard is NOT mad at me and IS speaking to me. He called this afternoon and said he got all my messages but he was just so crazy busy he couldn't call me back. He would get to his hotel and practically collapse. I was soooooooooooo happy about that. He sounded happy to talk to me and everything. Life is better again. Big brothers! Silly little sisters. I will try to email him only every other week because he said that was the easiest for him. So that's what I will do!
Richard is not speaking to me. Of course I don't have this officially from him because he will not answer my phone calls or emails, so this leads me to believe he isn't speaking to me. I don't know what it is I did, maybe about the lawsuit, which is the only thing I can think of. I can't ask him because he won't take my calls. I am actually really mad and upset about this. He is the one who wanted me to close the store earlier than I did. He didn't lose as much as me and mom did in the store. He is not out the amount of money that mom and I are. Of course, since he insisted on being a part of the business, not just loaning me the money, he is being sued by the bank too. We sent in our compromise offer and then the bank asked for our last two years taxes, I don't know why since they are the ones who sent us a compromise. Richard refused to send in his copies of taxes. I really don't know why, but his choice. Since then he hasn't spoken to me unless he absolutely needed to like asking me what I had sent in. Silly question, I sent in copies of my taxes, just like they asked. That was the last time he spoke to me. Not a word since. I can only speculate why.
No students today. I am very tired too. I may take a nap this afternoon. It sounds like a good plan. We saw Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs yesterday. It was okay, not as good as the previous two, but alright as far as movies go. Less than a week until Harry Potter! My students and I are excited about that. I can't wait for the movie. I do hope it is better than the 5th movie. I didn't really like that one as much as some of the others. The first two are still the best as they are the closest to the books. I am rereading all the books so I will be ready for the movie.
It is nice outside today. I think later today we will take a scooter/walk for a bit. Mom needs to get out of the house. Try to have a good day and enjoy the weather before the storms hit tomorrow!

I think we are going to see Ice Age this afternoon. Mom is having a kind of weird day. She tears up for no reason (or at least she won't tell me the reason) so I need to distract her. The next showing is in one hour and fifteen minutes. Plenty of time for us to go.
Pain level is so so today. My arm of course, burns. But I think I am getting used to it since it has been burning for a few months now. Stupid arm. We are going to go to the zoo in a few weeks with another family. We invited on of my student's family to come with us. I don't know if my student will go, (he's a freshman now) but the younger two will. The are nice boys and they like mom. the important thing that they like mom.
I had the Muglia family today except for one who had a sore throat. Poor kid, a sore throat is no fun especially in the summer. The three girls play piano and the boy plays the clarinet. They are all doing really well and the girls are just taking off with piano. I brought Harry Potter music for them, and they just ran with it. Today I brought the Pirates of the Caribbean to them. They love the songs from the movie.
I hope this finds you doing well and enjoying our beautiful weather we are having. Storms are a coming!!!!!!!

It is beautiful out today. Not to humid or hot. My kind of weather. We met our friends Donna and her granddaughter Sam for Tim Horton's earlier today. It was fun. We were there for about 3 hours. They like the same TV shows as I do, NCIS. I love that show. I can't find season 1 or 2 but I loaned them season 3. My first student should be here in about an 1 1/2 and then the second right after the first's lesson. I love teaching. Mom is doing really well today too. So good day all around. My arm isn't stinging or burning like it has been, so I am doing well too. I woke up a bit earlier to meet our friends, not the usual sleep in until 12 noon. Usually Saturday is the only day I have to get up a bit earlier.
Summer so far has been a bit boring. I have read several books, which is nice, since I love reading. But mostly outside of teaching, we haven't done a whole lot. We have seen a good amount of movies though, which mostly have been really good. Mom likes to go to the movies. I think tomorrow I am going to take her possibly to the zoo, depending on how much it is and if we can get my scooter in the car. We can break it down, just depends on pain level. I haven't been to the zoo for about 10 years. The polar bears have a new habitat. I want to see it.
I am beginning to work on my book again, I also started a fiction story too. I hope to have my book done by end of summer, but so far I am on page 5. Not a very good start. I have been putting other things aside too that I need to do. Silly, procrastinating me! Anyways, I hope you have a great day and enjoy the weather!

I got a new student today. Yeah!!!! She will start next Monday at 3:30pm. She is 16 years old and a junior in high school. I am very excited about it. She will be a vocal student. I have her for at least the summer and hopefully in the fall. She is a friend of another student.
It was rather boring today except for the one lesson I taught. Teaching brightens my day and when I am not, it is so boring. We went to Tim Horton's as usual, then came home and watched 7th Heaven. It was the last episode of the entire series. I have seen half of the episodes now. The Hallmark Channel is starting the series all over again. At least I hope they do. Often when a series is ended they change the series to something else.
I read something very interesting today. It was the 70th anniversary of the Lou Gehrig's (spelling???) speech, I didn't know it there was a speech. Anyways, apparently, there was and the man said he was the luckiest man in the world. What an attitude! I aspire to have an attitude like that. Sometimes I do. I did when I had the store, but I lost it when I lost the store. It resurfaces sometimes, like today when I got a new student. I also went to the little cafe we go to a lot, I had left some flyers there for lessons, and 6 of them are missing. That means 6 people took my flyer! I hope to have something good come up about it.
It is beautiful and not too hot or cold out so I think Mom and I will go for a scooter/walk.
Have a great evening.

It is the 4th of July today! Independence Day! Happy Birthday America! Our freedoms are the best in the world. I am very grateful for those who serve our country. We won't be going to any fireworks this year, my arm is sooooooo sore today that I just want to go to bed early. Hopefully next year will be better.
I finally found the camera that has the pictures on it from Florida. Naturally, the batteries are dead. I was just at Walmart a few hours ago! Ugh, did not know I needed batteries. Silly me. I should have checked the camera first before I went, but I didn't think about it. The camera hasn't been used since Florida and that was last year. Way last year. After I get new batteries tomorrow, I am uploading (once I figure out how) all the pictures from Florida on Facebook. I love Facebook. It is so fun reading what everyone else is doing. I did a quiz today on Peggy Williams (Covey) I got 73% of how much I know her. I guessed right on a couple and the rest I actually remembered from high school. Scary thought, high school. It seems like zillions of years ago. I should make up my own quiz and send it back. Maybe later. My arm is hurting to much to type that much.
We will be watching Stargate Atlantis tonight. I meant to turn it on earlier, but I was reading Kristin Chenoweth's book and it's great. Her biography is so funny. I also got the last of the Percy Jackson and the Olympian books from Tony this last week. He has loaned me all them so far and they are wonderful. I know that they are supposed to be children's books, but so was Harry Potter and look how many adults read and watch them. My point exactly. It has been a pretty boring day, except for reading. No students due to the holiday. I didn't cancel lessons, they did. I would have taught today anyways, I always center my life around teaching.
Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday and thought a bit about the people who have given us so much, our freedoms! Have a great evening!

I went to the Muglia's for sewing today. The three oldest (there are eight total!) Lydia, Natalie, and Hannah are learning how to sew. They picked out skirt patterns for the first outfit. We all learned a new lesson, READ the pattern to see how many you need to cut out. I don't know how I missed this last week, but I blew it. Fortunately, we still had enough material to cut the needed material! Today, we pinned and basted. Natalie and Hannah got to sew with the machine their 2 basic seams. Lydia had six panels to pin and baste, so we ran out of time. I love going there to sew and to teach. They (and their brother Peter) are so eager to learn. How exciting! I love it when students want to learn. Apparently the girls have to be told to STOP practicing! How refreshing!
On another happy note, Stargate Atlantis season 5 (the final season) is out on DVD and apparently Murder She Wrote season 10 is out also! Yeah! I love these shows. All mom's fault of course as she got me into both. It is nice to be able to watch shows that she loves too. She started off having a bad morning, but once we got to Muglia's she perked up and since then, has had a good day. Thank God for that!! It breaks my heart when she is having a rough day. There isn't anything I can do about, and that makes me feel worse. Soon I will need help with her, but I am able to help her now. Truth be told, I need her as much as she needs me. I have a hard time dressing myself these days due to pain. I can't put my own socks on and she also helps me with my pants. I can put those on, but she likes to help, so I let her. The socks are beyond me though.
Have a happy pre-4th of July! Embrace your freedoms! We are so blessed to live in this greatest country in the world!
